As technology has increased, there are merged new aircraft. Additionally, maintenance software programs have been developed to help maintain the aircraft's ongoing calendar and hourly inspections.

In technical terms, the advancement of this fighter jet is based upon manufacturers' continued development of weaponry and continued testing of propulsion systems. As a result, the Super Hornet has emerged as an advanced technological warplane. Technology has changed within the last 40 years, and the F18 Legacy emerged into the F18 Super Hornet.  Currently, airports are facing system failures and the aging of technology infrastructure, airports radar equipment, and aircraft, ground communication, there is a shortage of pilots, economies are in economic recess, governments shutdown then reopening, shutting down airports is a significant concern and global security because terrorism is alive. The aviation community has some significant issues that need to be resolved. These problems will eventually be solved with educated businessmen and women on a global effort.
